Christina I. Thompson

While at Central College, Christina studied abroad in London, England and was a member of the mock trial team. She also competed for Drake Law School’s mock trial team. In her spare time, Christina enjoys sewing and various volunteer activities, including judging mock trials at the middle school, high school, and college levels.

Education

  • Bachelor of Arts, History and Theatre, Central College–Magna Cum Laude
  • Juris Doctor, Drake University–Highest Honors
  • Certificate in Litigation and Dispute Resolution

While at Drake, Christina competed for the American Association for Justice (AAJ) mock trial team and participated in appellate and general practice clinics. She was a junior member of the Law Review and also certified as a mediator by the International Academy for Dispute Resolution.

Phil Watson

Phil and his wife, Judy, live in Indianola. Phil has a deep love of classic cars and figure eight dirt track racing and ran the local races in Indianola for a number of years before retiring from racing.

Riley T. Schoen

Riley graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2016 with a major in English literature.
Riley graduated from Drake Law School in 2024 with a focus on transactional practice.
Before joining Christina I. Thompson Law Office, Riley worked as a law clerk at multiple firms in and around the Des Moines metro area.
Prior to law school, Riley worked with his family as part of their hardware business.
Outside of work, Riley enjoys spending time at the gym, running and hiking.
